Urola Garaia
Urola Garaia is situated in the south of Gipuzkoa and is the smallest region in the territory. It borders Urola Kosta to the north, Goierri to the south and Debagoiena to the west.It is located at the foot of the Aizkorri Aratz Natural Park, in the centre of the intersection of the main urban centres (provincial capitals) of the Basque Autonomous Community.
The region that saw the birth of the illustrious singer and poet Jose Mari Iparragirre, even in its small size, is home to three of the most important attractions of Gipuzkoa: the Igartubeiti Farmhouse Museum, the Mirandaola Ironworks and the La Antigua Hermitage.
